About us

West Wichita Homeschool Ministries is a Christian academic program that supplements individual homeschools in pre-school through high school subjects.

One day a week, we offer select classes for students from Pre-K through High School. Throughout the year,
as a group, we provide opportunities for field trips and activities to enhance our children’s education.

01

What is a Co-Op?

A group of families who team up to share the workload of educating their children with supplemental classes.

Parents split tasks by teaching classes, leading field trips, volunteering for specific positions and helping wherever needed.

We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities. You do not have to teach but each family is required to volunteer.

Volunteer specifications can be found on our Membership Application page.

02

When do you meet?

We meet every Monday during the school year from 9:00-3:00. We observe major holidays. See the Calendar page.

There are classes at 9 AM, 10 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM and 2 PM with an hour lunch break.

Your family can take as many or as few classes as they desire. We have 16 week classes for high school and 12 week classes for elementary and middle school.

For the safety of every family we do not publicly disclose our place of meeting. We will disclose this information when you contact us.

03

What is the cost?

Each family pays a small per-semester fee. In addition each class fee is set by the teacher. Some fees include materials and books, some do not. These details can be found on the Class & Dates page.

The beauty of a homeschool co-op is that the workload is shared so we can keep costs as low as possible. Homeschooling isn't cheap so we all contribute to offer great classes as reasonable prices. Some high school classes have higher fees due to the increased workload for the teacher.

We welcome kids of all ages into our program. Nursery time is available each class hour.
