Kansas State History: Lapbook Style (3rd-6th)

Teacher: Faith Krauss

Description: Students will study Kansas State History in a fun, hands-on way by making a lapbook about Kansas! Lapbooking is a creative way for students to learn about a topic. It is basically a file folder that contains a variety of mini-books, foldables, charts, and other material that covers detailed information about the central topic.

Students will explore state symbols, famous people, geographical regions, historical events, and more as they learn about our great state.
At the end of the semester, each student will have their own lapbook journal with all the Kansas information they discovered.
