Lapbook Study of the Life of George Washington Carver (3rd-6th)

Description: George Washington Carver was one of the greatest scientist of the 20th century! He is famous for being an artist, botanist, inventor, and educator. He discovered over 300 uses for the peanut in addition to his many contributions to agriculture. Using the lapbook method we will study the life and history surrounding George Washington Carver.

This will be a hands-on study of his life and each student will have a completed lapbook folder at the end of the semester.

Each week we will also listen to a chapter of a book on CD about his life.

Class Length: 12 weeks
