PlayDoh Challenge (PreK-1st)

Description: Creativity and Thinking Skills combined with play-doh.
We’ll be doing fun activities like mixing play-doh to illustrate the color wheel, making mini active volcanoes, creating monsters and marble mazes, exploring texture, excavating for treasure, sculpting geological landforms, building with bricks and toothpicks, playing physical pictionary and tic-tac-toe, practicing math concepts such as counting, telling time, geometric shapes, fractions, addition, and subtraction, and other fun things with play-doh.
Class Length: 12 weeks
Supplies: 10 cans (or more) of various colors of full size playdoh cans with their names on them to keep at WWHM (will be sent home with them at the end of the semester)
