Description: Students will take a guided tour of what elected officials and everyday citizens do to keep America running. They will learn about government on the federal, state, and local levels; study American ideals and symbols; what it is like to be a fireman, a police officer, and the president of the United States of America; respect for our community, state, and country; and about their rights and responsibilities as a citizen.
Class Length: 16 weeks, year long
Homework: 2-3 hours
