Advanced Sewing: SECOND HOUR (8th-12th)

Description: Student must be able to independently work with their sewing machine (ie. thread the machine and be familiar with stitches). The student must be able to read and understand basic sewing instructions and patterns. We will work on more advanced sewing projects as well as harder to work with fabrics.

Working on invisible zippers, special hems and stitches, as well as become more familiar with the serger sewing machine. In addition to working on these harder sewing techniques, the student will complete a project of their choice during the semester. Student are required to provide any fabric, patterns and notions needed as well as a sewing machine.

Class Length: 16 weeks

Homework: 0-30 minutes

Prerequisites: Basic sewing skills and understanding
