Algebra 1 (9th-12th)

Description: Building on Pre-Algebra, Algebra I students will learn skills needed to successfully complete the math portion of the ACT test. An emphasis is placed on word problems so 9th-12th grade students will learn how to apply algebra to everyday situations.
Each student will use the Abeka curriculum and will need a text book and a quiz/test book. (The best price I found is on the Abeka.org website. The Algebra I Homeschool Student Kit is only $61.60.) Families with multiple students in the class may opt to provide one textbook as problems will be worked on paper.) A syllabus will be provided with lesson plans and reference charts.
