Beginner Choir (5th-12th)

Description: This class is the beginner choir. We will cover an introduction to music theory. We will go over the foundation of music theory, including note names, key signatures, etc. We will also include games with teaching to break up the flow of music.

We will be practicing songs for the closing program, with some songs being performed with the Advanced Choir class.

Class Length: 16 weeks

PreK Music Class (PreK)

Description: Come have fun exploring music! We will work on rhythm, dancing, and singing with our friends!

Learn w/Music & Movement (PreK-K)

Teacher: Trisha Dean

Description: Sing, wiggle, and dance your way to early learning skills. We will watch videos and listen to silly songs to practice a variety of skills such as rhyme, letter names and sounds, number recognition and counting skills.

Advanced Choir (5th-12th)

Teacher: Autumn Smith

Description: This class is ADVANCED. We will cover music theory, alternating with music history. This coming semester will cover the Circle of Fifths, note name memorization and a brief overview of music history.

We will be working on songs for the closing program as well, some songs we’ll be singing with joint beginner, but some will be solely for the advanced choir this semester.
