Beautiful Print Handwriting (1st-6th)
Teacher: Mikayla Craft
Description: Clear, readable handwriting is an important lifelong skill, but many students rarely receive focused instruction on how to improve it. In this class students will learn the mechanics of beautiful print handwriting through guided practice and hands-on activities.
Students will learn proper letter formation, consistent letter size, correct spacing between words, and how to keep writing aligned on the page. Each class includes short drills, writing practice, and fun penmanship challenges designed to build confidence and consistency.
Students should already know how to write the alphabet. The goal of this class is to refine handwriting so that students can write neatly, comfortably, and with greater confidence in their schoolwork.
The class is designed for students who already know their letters but need practice refining their handwriting skills. By the end of the semester, students will produce more consistent, readable writing and understand the mechanics of good penmanship.
