Cursive & Elegant Writing (6th-12th)

Description: Students will learn flowing cursive handwriting while improving writing rhythm, speed, and overall legibility. This class focuses on cursive letter formation, connecting letters smoothly, and developing consistent, readable writing.

Students will practice cursive through guided exercises, sentence writing, and short copywork passages. As the semester progresses, students will write longer passages and develop a confident, natural cursive style.

By the end of the course students will be able to write comfortably in cursive and develop a personal signature style.

Students should already be able to write comfortably in print before enrolling in this class.

Class Length: 16 weeks

Homework: 0-30 minutes

Supplies: Lined paper, sharpened pencils, good erasers, a folder or binder to store handwriting work
