Thematic Play Learning (K)

Description: Each week will consist of a theme that students will learn about through stories, activities, crafts, dance, and songs. This class will help students build their fine and gross motor skills, social skills, and group setting skills while enjoying activities formed with their interests in mind.

Class Length: 12 weeks

Prerequisites: Designed for Kindergarten age but could include mature preschoolers. Students will need to be able to participate in a group setting with minimum disruption and will benefit from having basic fine motor skills. (i.e. pencil grip and previous exposure to scissors)

Book: None

Supplies: Pencils, scissors, crayons, markers, glue sticks, and paint shirt (if you already have something)
