You Fix It (9th-12th)

Teacher: Shanna Sommers & Little Bear

Description: We will be teaching some of the basics of life. Examples would be changing a tire, jump starting a car, some basic plumbing and electrical. There will be an explanation of how your credit score works and how to balance a check book. How to apply for a job and some mock interviews. This class will be for high school students and will require hands on work. Example: We will physically go outside and change a tire. This will be a hands on learning class with some potential extra credit during the week outside of class time.

Class Length: 16 weeks

Prerequisites: Willingness to get in there and learn by doing.

Homework: 0-30 minutes

Book: None

Supplies: None. Clothes may get dirty so coveralls are up to you, but not required.
